Easter

I believe that Easter has a lot of significance. Whether we celebrate it or not, whether we are Christians or not, whether we believe it or not.

I think we can find meaning in anything really. We simply have to juxtapose the event with our story.
This is one of the best way to learn as well. It's by putting things into our perspective. Making associations of how this material or knowledge fit in our lives. It's about application of the thing we learn and putting it in context.

I can think of this saying "We only see what we want to see; we only hear what we want to hear. Our belief system is just like a mirror that only shows us what we believe." by Don Miguel Ruiz

Back to Easter.

It's about life over death. It's about the victory of Good over Evil. It's about finding our salvation and redemption after falling short. Our lives is always a battle between 2 forces- good and bad. Even though we have a choice to decide, we can't prevent moments of temptation and unfortunate circumstances. However, we can always go back to what matters to us. Focus on the good and see where it leads you.

Tiny steps

I admit, I lost track again. It's alright. We all do. Things happen. Stumbles are part of the journey. To get back to life, take tiny steps. 1 single action. The key is it doesn't have to be huge, only enough to get you started again.

Consistency

You've got to be consistent in whatever you do. To improve, learn, and be successful, you've got to be committed and consistently do what you must, in order to move in the direction of your dreams. Consistency will determine the value of your determination and how far you will get. Of course, it's not an easy task- to stay focus and not lose faith. Hang in there, 0.1% improvement is always better than zero. Over time it compounds and leads to unexpected results. Be driven by the system, by the action, by what it takes. Persevere and be consistent.

Gratitude

As this year comes to a close, I believe the most rewarding action to take is to list down all the things you are grateful for. It will be a gateway to reflect on all that happened during the year. It'll be an opportunity to unwind and see all the blessings you received. Sometimes what appears to be challenging and undesirable turned out to be a learning curve.  This is the time to be reminded of all the lessons learnt. Life has so much to teach us, but all lessons are learnt within and kept inside. Be aware that we have all that we need at any given time. I'm grateful for 2017 and all that it came with. Count your blessings.
