Consistency

This is a term I have come across very often. The benefits of being consistent. The importance of being consistent. The reasons to be consistent. Well, for one, I have tried times and again to be consistent. I don't even think it has to do with routine. It's simply the ability to keep at doing something, through rough and tough, not only during the good days, but also during the less good ones. It's about doing the thing even if you don't feel like it. It is also a question of priorities. Distractions are daily occurrences that we cannot avoid (also excuses to procrastinate). We must think about the long term. It takes time to build something.  It is a real challenge. It's not simple to be consistent for the sake of being consistent. The underlying reasons are always important because they prompt you to think about the long haul. I'm trying my best to be consistent because I know it's going to help me. It's a skill I need to embrace and earn...

Reading (ft Harry Potter)

I spent my childhood not enjoying reading. Trust me I was well-read, but my creative side or rather literary side was lacking. I couldn't come with fake stories to write. I was very limited in terms of writing as an art of expression. It's not the ability, but the ideas wouldn't jump at me. This is probably one the greatest regrets I have. I wished I read more and enjoy it. In later years, I started reading fiction. The first books I ever read was the Harry Potter series and that changed my perspective on reading. It took me to a new level of discovery. It was an eye-opener. Harry Potter, of course, still remains one of my favourite series ever. It's not only a disturbingly amazing story, so beautifully written but was also the beginning of my reading journey. Reading is so beneficial in so many ways. It can inspire you, make you cry, make you dead furious. It is the best form of learning. It can take you to new worlds. It is a journey of self-discovery.

Positive energy flow

Deep down, we are all positive souls. We are naturally good. However, we have a tendency to block that positive energy flow. In so doing, we let negative energy linger. Based on our past, the bad thoughts keep coming. The reason we feel pain is because we close our hearts unintentionally. We close that energy flow and focus on the bad memories. When we close ourselves, we cannot let anything good in. Pain feeds on pain. To be positive, you have to let go of all the feelings. Be open. Be aware of the present. Let the experiences come and go. Be happy. Breathe and release the tension, built-up emotions. Free yourself from your thoughts. Choose to be in control of your thoughts and emotion. You have control.
